I didn't serve, but I remember the horrible reception they got when they came home. Wish I could have been there to help and welcome them myself. All military personal should stand tall and proud, espesially the Vietnam Vet's mainly because of the way our nation treated them during the very stressful return home. The long term residual effect of use of Agent Orange on families is totally ignored. The Canadians have hit this head on and can prove the long term effects are enormous. Dioxin is like X-Rays, it does not deplete with age and has a cumulative effect on our bodies. No other unit has won more." The six Buffalo Soldier regiments (units) won a combined 23 Medals of Honor. A single non-buffalo soldier unit, the 8th Cavalry alone won 91 Medals of Honor during the Indian Wars, and the non-buffalo soldier 6th Cavalry won 43 during the some time period.
